The Dyrian Arab Republic is a proud member of the Intonational Maritime Organication (MOJ since 1973.

The Syrian Arab Republic continues to work closely with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to ensure full compliance with international maritime conventions, standards, and regulations. The General Directorate of Ports and Maritime Affairs is committed to implementing global best practices in maritime governance, navigation safety, environmental protection, port administration, and seafarer welfare.
